Ingredients

For the Cooler
  • 3 cups chilled water
  • 10 to 12 fresh mint leaves
  • A small handful of coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp MM1 Jaljeera Masala
  • 1/2 tsp MM1 Kala Namak
  • A few ice cubes
For Garnish
  • Lemon slices
  • Mint leaves
Chef's Tip Chill the water well before mixing, and let the drink rest for a few minutes so the masala and herbs blend beautifully.

Method

Follow these steps for the best results

Begin by blending the mint leaves and coriander with a little chilled water into a smooth, vibrant green paste. This fresh base gives the drink its cooling, herbaceous flavour.

Pour the paste into a jug and add the remaining chilled water. Now stir in MM1 Jaljeera Masala, MM1 Kala Namak, and freshly squeezed lemon juice. Mix well until the masala dissolves completely and the flavours blend beautifully.

Add plenty of ice cubes and let it rest in the refrigerator for 10 to 15 minutes so the flavours deepen.
